C. David Sammons, who leads a major Subaru distributor in the Northeastern U.S., paid $11.6 million for the home of Palm Beach broker Jim McCann and his wife, interior designer Sara McCann.

Sammons and his wife, Diane, a dermatologist, closed on the five-bedroom, 6,815-square-foot house at 324 Garden Road in Palm Beach, property records.

The Bermuda-style house, built on a dry lot, features a large garden and pool and was built by Benitz Building LLC in 2010. It hit the market in February for $12.9 million, according to Realtor.com. Rosalind Clarke of Premier Estate Properties represented the sellers.

Sammons is president and CEO of Subaru Distributors Corp., a distributor of Subaru vehicles in northern New Jersey and New York State. He and his wife financed their Palm Beach home purchase with a $6.5 million loan from J.P. Morgan Chase Bank.

The McCanns paid $4 million for their Palm Beach home in 2007, property records show.

Jim McCann, a top broker in Palm Beach, left the Corcoran Group to open Premier Estate Properties’ first office in Palm Beach in early 2018. The longtime real estate agent has closed sales exceeded $100 million annually since 2007, totaling more than $1 billion. Sara McCann owns McCann Design Group, a full service interior design firm based in West Palm Beach.

Jim McCann could not immediately be reached for comment.
