A new boutique luxury townhome project is coming to Hollywood Beach.

Miami-based JQ Group of Companies is building QuintCollection, ten luxury waterfront units with a private marina at 2800 North Ocean Drive. The developer is launching sales, with townhomes starting at $2.9 million.

The development will include a private marina with 12 slips, where every buyer will have at least one slip for their boats. The project is planned for completion in 2019 and the marina is already 50 percent completed, according to a press release.

The residences will feature four floor plans ranging from 4,650 square feet to 5,137 square feet across five stories. Each unit has a two-car garage on the first floor, and each has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a private rooftop and an elevator. Sales are being handled in-house by JQ Group of Companies.

JQ Group of Companies, led by Jesús Quintero, has partnered with other developers on projects in Brickell and Doral, including Midtown Doral and the luxury condo Brickell House.

Elsewhere on Ocean Drive, the Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, one of the largest hotels in South Florida, recently got initial approval from the Broward County Commission to build a second hotel building with 500 rooms across the street from the 1,000-room Diplomat.
