Plot on Billionaires Row in Golden Beach sells to developer for $11M

The buyer has a large portfolio of hotels, apartments, office and retail proper

A company tied to Dallas real estate firm RMC Property Holdings paid $10.75 million for a plot of land on Billionaires’ Row in Golden Beach.

Property records show Nathan Saks sold the 27,900-square-foot lot at 365 Ocean Boulevard to Central Park Tower Corp. It has 100 feet of ocean frontage, according to the listing. The property was on the market with Zoila Garcia of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty for nearly $13 million and later reduced to $11.5 million.

Saks paid $6.5 million for the property in 2009. It includes a 3,400-square-foot home, built in 1946.

RMC Property Holdings has acquired, developed and managed more than $600 million of real estate, including over 2,000 apartment units, 6.8 million square feet of office space, 500,000 square feet of retail space and 2,000 hotel suites, according to its website.

Golden Beach residents include Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim, fashion photographer Bruce Weber, Crescent Heights principal Sonny Kahn and celebrity radio host Tom Joyner.

Billionaire real estate developer Ben Ashkenazy recently listed an oceanfront lot at 401 Ocean Boulevard for $11 million.

Earlier this year, The Meyers Group’s Stuart Meyers paid nearly $10 million for a five-bedroom, 10,000-square-foot estate at 655 Ocean Boulevard in Golden Beach.
