Condo sales fell following Miami Art Week.
A total of 103 condos sold for $41 million last week, compared to 116 units that sold for a combined $49 million the previous week. Condos last week sold for an average price of about $402,000 or $351 per square foot.
A unit at Faena House marked the priciest sale of the week. Unit 5D, a one-bedroom, 1,185-square-foot condo, sold for $2.65 million after only two days on the market. Maria Patch represented the seller, while Dani Moore represented the buyer. The Mid-Beach unit sold for $2,236 per square foot. Property records show Fortin Enterprises Inc., led by Danielle Moore, Lesly Smith and Susan Channing of Palm Beach, sold the unit. Moore, a philanthropist, is the president of the Palm Beach Town Council. Smith was formerly mayor of the town of Palm Beach.
The second most-expensive sale was the $2.6 million trade of Caribbean Condominium unit S-1703. It was listed for 273 days before selling for $1,604 per square foot. The listing agent was Cyril Bijaoui. The buyer’s agent was Judith Werner.
