Condo sales rose at the start of the new year in Miami.
A total of 92 condos sold for $51.4 million last week, compared to 88 units that sold for a combined $33 million the previous week. Condos last week sold for an average price of about $559,000 or $359 per square foot.
The top deal closed just before the end of 2019. Palazzo Del Sol unit 7074 traded for $10 million, or over $2,100 per square foot. Dora Puig brokered both sides of the sale. The Fisher Island condo was on the market for 68 days before it sold.
The second most expensive sale was the $5.55 million closing of Continuum South Tower unit 606. After 180 days on the market, the South Beach unit sold for $2,213 per square foot. The buyer was author and longevity expert Dan Buettner. The listing agent was Dina Goldentayer and the buyer’s agent was Jill Eber.
