Beverly Hills-born fashion brand Badgley Mischka has inked a deal to brand real estate developments across the nation.

The company is working with Brands Lab International to develop boutique residential and hospitality projects, The Real Deal has learned. Brands Lab International, with offices in Miami, London, Munich and Lisbon, is currently working with Diesel in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood to build a branded condo building and working with the Martha Stewart brand to develop projects across the country.

Mark Badgley and James Mischka launched the brand in 1988, sold it to Escada in 1992, which sold it to Candie’s two years later. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson became the face of the company in the early 2000s.

Badgley and Mischka bought the brand back in 2017. In addition to clothing, handbags, fragrance, swimwear, and jewelry, Badgley Mischka launched a home collection.

Branded real estate developments have grown in popularity, especially in markets like South Florida. Developers can ask for nearly 31 percent more on average than for comparable non-branded properties, according to data from Savills.
