Movers & Shakers: Aventura broker joins Berkshire EWM & more

Aventura broker Sid Koslovsky joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty.

Koslovsky and his wife, Susan, will work out of the brokerage’s Aventura office at 2750 Northeast 185th Street. He opened Koslovsky Realty in 1980, and has sold tens of millions of dollars worth of real estate in Sunny Isles, Aventura and the surrounding areas, according to a press release. Last summer, EWM, with more than 900 agents and employees and 10 offices in Miami-Dade and Broward counties, joined the Berkshire Hathaway network.

Felipe Azenha joined One Commercial Real Estate as a global investment adviser. Azenha is still director of business development at Gridics. Stephen Nostrand, president and COO of the commercial arm of One Sotheby’s International Realty, was Azenha’s professor in graduate school. Before he co-founded Gridics in 2015, Azenha worked for StreetEasy.

Michael Taylor was promoted to CEO of Pompano Beach-based Current Builders. Taylor has been president of the firm since 2003, and is taking the place of Charles Reid, who had planned to retire. Senior vice president Henry Huisman is also retiring. The company’s portfolio includes multifamily, warehouse, office, educational and mixed-use properties. Current Builders also has its own concrete division called CB Structures.
