A retired Canadian finance executive and his wife sold their estate in the Bear’s Club in Jupiter for 24 percent less than they paid for it a year ago.

Jim Nikopoulos and his wife Christine Fadare sold their house at 107 West Bear’s Club Drive for $5.67 million to 107 West Bears Club Drive LLC, led by Robert Simses, an attorney in Palm Beach, records show. The home totals 10,115 square feet, equating to a price of $553 per square foot.

The mansion last sold for $7.4 million in April 2019, records show. It was built in 2010 and has six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. It features a game room, a luxury home theatre, a paneled library and a summer kitchen, according to a listing on Realtor.com.

It was listed by Talbot Sutter with Sutter & Nugent Inc., according to Realtor.com.

Nikopoulos was president of Toronto-based ECN Capital, which manages $34 billion in credit portfolios, according to its website. He retired in May 2019, a press release stated.

The Bear’s Club community was founded in 1999 by golfer Jack Nicklaus. It has an 18-hole golf course and a 40,000-square foot clubhouse. The community has about 80 homes, villas and cottages.

A number of celebrities have bought homes at the development, including Michael Jordan and golfer Michelle Wie.

In February, the former president of Pan American Airways sold his estate in Bear’s Club for $10 million.
