Private equity honcho pays $5M for Boca Raton condo

The co-founder of a New York-based private equity firm paid $5.3 million for a condo at One Thousand Ocean in Boca Raton.

UPDATED, March 25, 6:20 p.m.: Steven and Beth Millner bought unit 101 at 1000 South Ocean Boulevard from Dianne C. DeHerrera, now known as Dianne Dalstein, records show.

Steven Millner is a managing member and co-founder of Gen II Fund Services, LLC, a private equity fund administrator that has administered over $1 billion in funds, according to its website.

Dalstein was formerly married to Felix DeHerrera, the chairman and majority owner of the mortgage company Alterra Home Loans. The two bought the condo in 2018 for $5.4 million. Palm Beach County records show Dalstein, as Dianne C. DeHerrera, became sole holder of the deed in November 2019.

The condo initially was listed in January 2020 for $6.2 million. The most recent asking price was $6 million in December.

Senada Adzem with Douglas Elliman represented Dalstein, while Eyal Golan of the same brokerage represented the Millners.

Property records show the condo has three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. The unit spans 4,538 square feet, and sold for $1,168 per square foot.

Among other recent sales in Boca Raton, the owner of a real estate company sold a waterfront spec home for $12.5 million, and the commissioner of the National Hockey League bought a mansion for $8 million.
