Knotel I Ofizzina I Coral Gables
New York-based flexible office provider Knotel will open its fourth location in South Florida.
Knotel leased 23,700 square feet on three full floors at the Ofizzina office building at 1200 Ponce de Leon Boulevard in Coral Gables, according to a news release from the landlord’s broker. Knotel is expected to open in the third quarter of next year.
Gordon Messinger of CBRE represented the landlord, and Clay Sidner of Newmark represented the tenant.
The 16-story Ofizzina, completed in 2018, is an office condominium, meaning units are separately owned.
Knotel also has leased space in West Palm Beach at The Press project, a redevelopment of the Palm Beach Post’s campus; in Miami’s Wynwood at the Wyncatcher building, a warehouse at 2143 Northwest First Avenue that is being converted into co-working spaces; and at 225 Northeast 34th Street, also in Miami.
Becker I Coral Gables
Law firm Becker will move its Coral Gables office.
Becker leased 6,500 square feet on the eighth floor at 2525 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, where the firm is expected to open in the first quarter of next year, according to a news release from the tenant’s broker.
Robert Orban of Cresa represented the tenant.
Becker, which is based in Fort Lauderdale and has 130 attorneys, is moving its Coral Gables office from 121 Alhambra Plaza.
PGIM Real Estate, led by Eric Adler, owns the six-story building, and Hines leases and manages the property. PGIM is the real estate investment and financing arm of Prudential Financial.
