Estates at Acqualina tops weekly Miami-Dade condo sales

Top 10 sales ranged from $1.9M to $7.7M

Miami-Dade County’s condo sales volume dropped last week, while the average sale price and price per square foot rose.

Brokers closed 100 sales last week, down from 133 the week prior. Total condo sales came to $82 million, versus $96 million the week earlier. The latest sales averaged $819,679, compared to $724,000, and the average price per square foot rose to $748 from $540, according to data from condo.com.

Estates at Acqualina Unit 1801 at 17901 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach was the top sale last week at $7.7 million, far higher than the $4 million top sale the week prior at Carillon North Tower. Marla Cohen had the Estates at Acqualina listing, and Yansy Checa represented the buyer. Both agents are with Acqualina Realty. The condo spent 142 days on the market.

The second priciest sale closed at The Fairchild for $6.3 million. Unit 602 at 3581 East Glencoe Street in Miami’s Coconut Grove sold after spending 11 days on the market. It sold for $2,978 per square foot. Cristian Cardenas with Cardenas Larocca had the listing, and Mauricio Barba with Compass represented the buyer.
