Miami-Dade’s weekly condo sales tumbled last week, in dollar volume, number of closings and average price.
Brokers closed 145 sales last week, down from 190 the week prior. Total dollar volume reached $127 million, versus $178 million the week earlier. The latest sales averaged $876,000, also down from $935,000. The average price per square foot fell to $543 from $593, according to data from condo.com.
Last week, an Apogee condo in South Beach snagged the top spot at $16.2 million. Jill Hertzberg with Coldwell Banker had the listing for unit 1201 at 800 South Pointe Drive in Miami Beach. Gerrit Kocks with OWN Realty represented the buyer. The condo spent 234 days on the market and closed at $3,900 per square foot.
The runner-up was a sale at Estates at Acqualina in Sunny Isles Beach. Unit 1605 at 17901 Collins Avenue sold for $11.6 million — or $2,226 per square foot — after 126 days on the market. Sandra Pariente with Charles Rutenberg Realty had the listing.
