Portofino Tower closing leads Miami-Dade weekly condo sales

Miami-Dade’s condo sales tumbled again last week. 

Total sales, dollar volume, average price, and average price per square foot all dropped, continuing the trend from the previous week.

Brokers closed 133 sales last week, down from 145 the week prior. Total dollar volume reached $98 million, versus $127 million the week earlier. The latest sales averaged $740,000, also down from $935,000. The average price per square foot fell to $525 from $543, according to data from condo.com.

Last week, a Portofino Tower condo in Miami Beach snagged the top spot at $8.8 million. John Lennon with South Pointe Drive Realty had the listing for unit 3105 at 300 South Pointe Drive. Jacob Abdala with Legacy Plus Realty represented the buyer. The condo spent 482 days on the market and closed at $1,614 per square foot.

The runner-up was a sale at Brickell Flatiron in Miami. Unit TH1802 at 1000 Brickell Plaza sold for $4.5 million — or $1,126 per square foot — after 65 days on the market. Nelson Gonzalez with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty had the listing. Jordan Lederman with Fortune International Realty represented the buyer.
