Porsche Design Tower closing leads Miami-Dade weekly condo sales

Top 10 sales ranged from $2M to $6.5M

The number of condo sales and total dollar volume in Miami-Dade County jumped last week.

Still, the average price and average price per square foot of the top 10 sales dropped, continuing their weeks-long decline.

Brokers closed 181 sales last week, up from 133 the week prior. Total dollar volume reached $122 million, versus $98 million the week earlier. The latest sales averaged $675,000, down from $740,000. The average price per square foot dropped to $514 from $525, according to data from condo.com.

Last week, a Porsche Design Tower condo in Sunny Isles Beach snagged the top spot at $6.5 million. Jeffrey Miller with One Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing for unit 5401 at 18555 Collins Avenue. Christina Lawrence with Compass Florida represented the buyer. The condo spent 57 days on the market and closed at $2,050 per square foot.

The runner-up was a sale at Privé in Aventura. Unit 1505 at 5500 Island Estates Drive sold for $6 million — or $1,506 per square foot — after 37 days on the market. Randi Rapp with Compass Florida had the listing. Adriana Faerman, also with Compass, represented the buyer.
