Here’s the latest in South Florida real estate hiring.

Miami-based Tricera Capital, the commercial real estate firm led by Ben Mandell, brought in Adrian Rahimi as chief investment officer, it announced in a press release. He joins Tricera from his role as head of capital markets at Resia, a multifamily developer based in Miami, LinkedIn shows.

Rahimi also has prior experience as a real estate lender. He held roles at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital and Santander Bank, where he worked on loans totaling more than $1.5 billion, the release says.

Basis Industrial, a Boca Raton-based real estate firm, added Max Ducharme as a managing partner to head its new investment arm, Basis Alternative Investments, according to a press release. Ducharme is based in West Palm Beach, and will head Basis’ expansion into car washes, the release says. He will also work on distressed retail and multifamily projects.

Ducharme was previously senior vice president of investment and development for the Falcone Group, a hospitality and real estate firm based in Boca Raton, the release says.

Paul Stockall and his team of agents are leaving Illustrated Properties to join Compass’ Palm Beach Gardens office, according to a press release. Diane Hutchinson, Devin Harkness, Lindsey Thompson and Kathryn Maloney are among the agents joining him in the move. They will serve Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, Jupiter Island and Tequesta, according to the release.

Compass opened the Palm Beach Gardens office in April, as well as a new office in Weston, following the trend of brokerages moving northward within South Florida.

JLL’s Capital Markets team in Miami promoted senior managing director Alex Sharrin to co-lead its national net lease platform, alongside Coler Yoakam, the firm announced in a press release. Yoakam is currently based in Dallas, and Sharrin is in JLL’s Miami office.

Sharrin has closed more than $4 billion in deals since 2018, the release says.
