Miami-Dade County condo sales slid last week, while total dollar volume and price per square foot rose.
Brokers closed 127 condo sales totaling $100 million last week. The week prior, brokers closed 151 sales totaling $87 million.
Units sold for an average of $784,000, higher than the $579,000 from the week prior. The average price per square foot rose to $555 from $511, according to data from condo.com. Last week, condos closed after an average of 76 days on the market.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $2 million to $14.2 million.
Bayview Fisher Island unit 5373 at 5373 Fisher Island Drive in Miami Beach took the top spot with a $14.2 million closing. The sale equated to $2,453 per square foot after 340 days on the market. Jorge Escasena with Luxury Living Realty had the listing. Lourdes Alatriste with Douglas Elliman represented the buyer.
A Continuum condo snagged second place with a $10 million sale. Unit 2501 at 50 South Pointe Drive in Miami Beach closed at $3,482 per square foot after 288 days on the market. Tracy Galya with Douglas Elliman had the listing. Marko Gojanovic with One Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyer.
