There’s nothing spooky about these South Florida real estate hiring moves.
In Miami, commercial real estate brokerage Lee & Associates brought in Bert Checa as principal, according to a press release. Checa previously worked for nearly seven years as Transwestern Real Estate’s vice president of office agency leasing, according to LinkedIn. In his new role, he will lead the firm’s office leasing in Miami-Dade and Broward counties, the release shows.
Accesso Partners, a commercial real estate company headquartered in Hallandale Beach, tapped Rob Kuster as CFO, his LinkedIn shows. Kuster joined the firm from New York City-based Saluda Grade, a short term rental REIT, where he worked as chief operating officer for one year, according to LinkedIn.
Native Realty, the Fort Lauderdale-based commercial real estate firm, hired real estate associates Sarah and Jeremiah Adler, a press release says. The duo previously co-founded the Los Angeles-based UP(st)ART Creative Living, an artist-centric co-living company, according to the release.
Earlier this year, Native Realty CEO Jaime Sturgis promoted Kaley Tuning to COO, and Dan Ross to executive vice president. The announcement came just a few short months after the firm brought in Adriana Lilly as a vice president.
Boca Raton-based SVN Commercial Partners promoted internally this week. The firm elevated Adam H. Klein and Elon Gerberg to directors of investment sales, according to the South Florida Business Journal. The pair lead the ROI Group, and are among the company’s top performers in retail, office, and industrial investment sales in South Florida.
The pair joined SVN in 2021, moving over from investment sales roles with Marcus & Millichap, LinkedIn shows.
