Fyre Festival, the ill-fated music festival that landed its founder behind bars, is back for another round — with one of Miami’s top developers and planned luxury condos in tow.

Billy McFarland, the embattled con man who was convicted over fraud charges after the disastrous first iteration of his proposed event series, posted on TikTok to announce details of the most expensive ticket offered, in his latest pitch for a Fyre installment.

“This all starts with the legendary developer and king of Miami, Gil Dezer,” McFarland says in the video. “Everybody who has the $1 million Fyre ticket gets one month a year for five years in Gil’s newest building.”
The property in question is Dezer’s planned Bentley Residences in Sunny Isles Beach, the developer confirmed to The Real Deal.

Dezer is not a partner with the festival, he told TRD. But McFarland and his team have a contract on a 6,000-square-foot oceanfront unit in the planned 62-story, 216-unit tower at 18401 Collins Avenue.

The three-bedroom condo was offered for $8.4 million, according to Dezer, and spans 3,000 square feet, along with a 1,300-square-foot garage and 1,700-square-foot balcony.

In the video, McFarland bills the unit as “absolutely insane,” complete with the Dezervator, the developer’s signature car elevator that allows owners to park up to four cars in their condos.

The condo, which McFarland referred to in the video as “Fyre House,” will serve as “home base for all of our Caribbean trips, Fyre Two, Fyre Three and beyond.” The event website says it is “targeted for the end of 2024” — more than a year before Bentley Residences will be completed.

“My partners and I have secured a unit at the Bentley Residences for FYRE’s $1 million ticket holders,” McFarland said in a statement. “In addition to the highest level of access and accommodations to FYRE Festival 2.0, the $1 million ticket holders will receive scheduled, private use of the unit at Miami’s new, premiere condo development.”

McFarland also claimed he has received nearly 100 applications for the $1 million ticket.

Dezer Development launched sales of the branded project in January 2022. Bentley Residences, which sits a few buildings south of Dezer’s similarly automotive-centered Porsche Design Tower, is slated for completion in 2026.
