South Florida real estate firms brought in new leadership in the latest roundup of hiring news.
Fort Lauderdale-based developer PTM Partners hired Alex Cemaj as vice president of acquisitions and asset management, according to a press release. In his role, Cemaj will be responsible for the firm’s acquisitions, repositioning, and development strategy.
Prior to joining PTM, Cemaj worked for five years as vice president of acquisitions at Aby Rosen and Michael Fuchs’ RFR Holding.
Miami-based development firm LD&D tapped Paul Hess as vice president of development, Hess confirmed. The move comes a year after Vladimir Doronin’s OKO Group brought Hess in as a senior associate for acquisition and development. Prior to OKO, he worked for five years at Lennar’s Quarterra Group.
Irvine, California-based architecture and design firm KTGY brought in West Palm Beach-based designer Holly Nixon to its interior design group, according to a press release. Nixon joins the team following six years as a design director with VStarr Interiors, tennis star Venus Williams’ West Palm Beach firm.
Nixon will continue to work on South Florida projects with KTGY, which is expanding into Florida’s multifamily and hospitality markets, the release shows.
