Jade Beach tops Miami-Dade weekly condo sales

Miami-Dade County’s condo sales dollar volume and price per square foot rose last week, with a closing at Jade Beach leading the way.

Brokers sold 172 condos from April 1st to April 8th, the same number as the week prior. Condo sales last week totaled $157 million. The previous week, sales totaled $130 million.

Last week’s units sold for an average price of $912,680, higher than the $754,193 average from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $574 from $562, according to data from Redfin.

For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $4 million to $8.5 million. Five sales exceeded $5 million.

Unit PH4904 at Jade Beach, at 17001 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach, took the top spot with a $8.525 million closing. Daniel Tzinker and Sharon Beck, both with The Agency Florida, represented both sides of the deal. The sale closed at $1,038 per square foot after 63 days on the market.

Unit 7741 at Oceanside Fisher Island, at 7741 Fisher Island Drive in Miami Beach, closed for the second highest amount, $8.5 million or $2,707 per square foot, after 64 days on the market. Karla Abaunza and Jorge Escasena with Luxury Living Realty had the listing. Saddy L. Abaunza with Luxury Living Realty represented the buyer.
