Miami-Dade County’s condo sales and dollar volume rose last week.
Brokers closed 160 condo sales totaling $156 million from April 15th to April 22nd. The previous week, brokers closed 135 condo sales totaling $141 million.
Last week’s units sold for an average price of $977,219, lower than the $1,044,934 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $651 from $611, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $3.1 million to $10.9 million.
Continuum’s South Tower units 1902 and 1903 at 100 South Pointe Drive in Miami Beach took the top spot with a $10.9 million closing. The sale closed at $4,228 per square foot after 116 days on the market. Eddy Martinez and Roland Ortiz with One Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing. Carlo Dipasquale with Compass Florida represented the buyer.
It’s the second time in as many months that a sale at Continuum topped the charts. Last month, unit 1805 at Continuum’s North Tower closed for $6.3 million.
Ritz-Carlton Residences unit 2905 at 15701 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach closed for the second highest amount, $6.7 million, or $2,091 per square foot. Sofia Lopez De Mesa with Vanguard Properties had the listing, and Sergio Lopez De Mesa, also with Vanguard Properties, represented the buyer. The unit spent 220 days on the market.
