Miami-Dade County’s condo sales and total dollar volume fell last week, with a closing at Oceana Key Biscayne topping the charts.
Brokers closed 155 condo sales totaling $122 million from April 22nd to April 29th. The previous week, brokers closed 160 condo sales totaling $156 million.
Last week’s units sold for an average price of $789,242, lower than the $977,219 average price from the week prior. The average price per square foot fell to $545 from $651, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $2.7 million to $9.6 million.
Oceana Key Biscayne unit 601S at 360 Ocean Drive in Key Biscayne took the top spot with a $9.6 million closing. The unit sold for $2,532 per square foot. Juan Zuluaga with Coldwell Banker had the listing. John Naranjo with Fortune Christie’s International Real Estate represented the buyer. The sale closed after 45 days on the market.
A Jade Signature unit closed for the second highest amount. Unit 4703 at 16901 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach sold for $4.8 million, or $1,647 per square foot. B. Cristina Garcia Gould with Florida Realty of Miami had the listing. Melisa Perez with Brickell Realty Group represented the buyer. The sale closed after 43 days on the market.
