In the latest roundup of South Florida real estate hiring news, firms are launching and hiring new leadership.
Three years after leaving Brown Harris Stevens, broker Phil Gutman is launching his own new development marketing firm, according to a press release. Gutman Development Marketing, based in Miami, will focus on luxury condo projects, condo-hotels and residential communities, the release shows.
Gutman was president of Brown Harris Stevens Miami from 2017 to 2021. Before that, he was vice president of Douglas Elliman Development Marketing. More recently, Gutman has led sales and marketing for Ian Bruce Eichner’s La Baia Bay Harbor condo projects. He also owns his own brokerage firm, PGutman LLC.
Also in Miami, KW Property Management & Consulting hired Suzel Broe as chief financial officer of financial services, a press release shows. She joins the firm from Orion Real Estate Group, another Miami firm where she was also CFO, according to the release.
Broe is KW Property Management’s latest leadership hire in recent months. The firm hired three executives in food and beverage and IT services in November, and a COO and executive director of association finance in May of last year.
Swedish property management firm Odevo Group acquired KW Property Management in 2022, and named KW Property Management founder Paul Kaplan as its U.S. CEO in April.
Also in Miami, commercial real estate firm Tricera Capital brought in Kevin Ceron as controller and Robin Alonso as director of property management, according to a press release.
Ceron joins the firm from his role as a controller with Miami Manager, where he worked for two years, according to LinkedIn. Alonso comes to Tricera from Tristar Capital in New York City, the release shows.
