Continuum on South Beach closing tops Miami-Dade weekly condo sales

$17.8M unit led the top 10 last week, amid boost in dollar volume

Miami-Dade County’s condo sales fell, while dollar volume rose, with a $17.8 million closing leading the way.

Brokers closed 165 condo sales totaling $140 million from May 6th to May 13th. The previous week, brokers closed 179 condo sales totaling $114 million.

Last week’s units sold for an average price of $850,114, higher than the $635,738 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $560 from $529, according to data from Redfin.

For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $2.2 million to $17.8 million. 

Unit 2203 at Continuum on South Beach, at 100 South Pointe Drive in Miami Beach, took the top spot with a $17.8 million closing. The sale closed at $3,727 per square foot. Eddy Martinez and Crystal Connors, both with One Sotheby’s International Realty, represented the seller. Kevin Crego, with Compass Florida, represented the buyer.

Unit 3902 at Santa Maria, at 1643 Brickell Avenue in Miami, closed for the second highest amount, $6,700,000, or $1,169 per square foot.
