Movers & Shakers: Compass nabs 50 South Florida agents

Plus: Concord Summit hires COO, Polsinelli adds real estate attorney

Compass beefed up its South Florida presence in the latest roundup of the tri-county region’s real estate hiring news.

The brokerage brought in Nxt Lvl Realty, a 50-agent brokerage led by Osmany Mondaca, according to a press release. The brokerage was previously based in Pinecrest and has closed almost $1 billion in sales since launching in 2012.

The 50-agent team will now be based at Compass’ Coral Gables office. The agents cover markets spanning the Florida Keys to Palm Beach County

Also adding to the brokerage’s South Florida presence, Tony Oakley, a Compass sales manager previously based in New York City, moved to the Fort Lauderdale office. Oakley joined Compass on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in 2018, and has worked on new development sales, as well as townhomes and whole buildings, LinkedIn shows.

Miami-based Concord Summit Capital hired Manny Brown as its chief operating officer, a press release shows. He was previously president and COO of Plum Commercial Real Estate Lending, a Chicago-based firm.

Concord Summit, which was founded in 2020, also hired Robert Horton as a managing director in March. 

The law firm Polsinelli added attorney Jennifer S. O’Connor to its real estate finance practice in Miami, a press release shows. O’Connor specializes in real estate finance and loan servicing, and represents lenders, servicers and investors in her practice, the release shows.
