A global spotlight is shining on South Florida in the post-pandemic landscape, and firms are looking to capitalize on that in the latest roundup of hiring news.
Coconut Grove-based One Sotheby’s International Realty tapped Liza Lamar as its managing director for markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), according to a press release. Lamar started her career in new development sales with One Sotheby’s in 2009. She will be based in London in her new role connecting One Sotheby’s with international clients, the release shows.
Fort Lauderdale-based Native Realty brought in Corey Kingsbury as a commercial real estate associate, a press release shows. Kingsbury is the latest addition to the brokerage, which expanded into residential sales in the fall, and has since bulked up its leadership.

JLL Capital Markets promoted two debt advisory associates to director roles in its Miami office, according to a press release. Jimmy Calvo and Joshua Odessky both started at the firm in 2021, and will focus on debt and equity advisory for a variety of property types in their new roles.
