Miami-Dade County’s total condo sales, dollar volume and price per square foot fell during the July Fourth holiday week. A Continuum South Beach condo led the way with an eight-figure sale.

Brokers closed 118 condo sales totaling $92.2 million from July 1st to July 8th. The previous week, brokers closed 147 condo sales totaling $142 million.

Last week’s units sold for an average of $780,998, higher than the $748,529 average sale price from the previous week. The average price per square foot fell to $494 from $517, according to data from Redfin.

For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $1.2 million to $16.2 million. 

Unit 2801/2802 at Continuum South Beach in Miami Beach took the top spot with a $16.2 million closing. The sale closed at $4,865 per square foot after 197 days on the market. Dina Goldentayer with Douglas Elliman had the listing. Dustin Nero with Douglas Elliman represented the buyer. 

Unit 1401 at the Mansions at Acqualina, at 17749 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach, closed for the second highest amount, $7 million or $1,517 per square foot. Jonathan Mann with Coldwell Banker Realty had the listing. Karina Batievsky with Acqualina Realty brought the buyer. The sale closed after 37 days on the market.
