Stifel’s Chuck Roberts Buys $16M Bay Point House

Stifel investment broker Chuck Roberts is switching from a penthouse in Miami Beach to a waterfront house in Miami’s Bay Point.

Roberts and his wife, model and DJ Klaudie Roberts, bought the home at 761 Button Lane for $16 million from Thomas Hoersman and Heidi Marie Heinau, records show. The Roberts financed the purchase with an $11.2 million mortgage from Stifel Bank & Trust. 

Ana Teresa Rodriguez of Coldwell Banker Realty had the listing, and Elise Roberts-Messing and Harvey Messing represented the buyers.

Roberts has been a managing director at Stifel Financial Corporation since 2016, where he heads the CR Wealth Management Group. He was previously a managing director at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Roberts’ team specializes in wealth management for ultra-affluent individuals, families and institutions, his LinkedIn shows. He faces more than a dozen pending customer disputes alleging breaches of fiduciary duty and negligence, his BrokerCheck report shows.

Roberts sold his penthouse in Miami Beach’s 57 Ocean tower to Millennium Management’s Chief Information Officer Vlad Torgovnik for $25 million in April. Roberts had bought it for $13.8 million in 2021, records show. 

Hoersman is a partner at Heptagon Capital, a London-based asset management firm focused on family offices, high net worth individuals and institutional investors. 

Hoersman and Heinau bought the waterfront Bay Point house for $7.3 million in 2015, records show. The 6,200-square-foot home was built on half an acre in 2015. It has seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, one half-bathroom, a pool and a dock, the listing shows. 

The couple listed it for $23.5 million in April of last year, according to Realtor.com. They dropped the price three times before closing for $16 million earlier this month. 

Prices for Bay Point homes continue to climb, despite the post-pandemic slowdown. Last year, Adonel Concrete CEO Luis García sold his waterfront mansion in Bay Point for a record $38.5 million. Exes Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas sold their Bay Point mansion for $15 million in August of last year.
