Continuum South Beach closing tops Miami-Dade weekly condo sales

Top 10 sales ranged from $2.6M to $14.8M

Miami-Dade County’s condo sales rose last week, with an eight-figure closing at Continuum on South Beach leading the way.

Brokers closed 140 condo sales totaling $131 million from July 15th to July 22nd. The previous week, brokers closed 113 condo sales totaling $92.8 million.

Last week’s units sold for an average of $938,812, higher than the $821,936 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $586 from $563, according to data from Redfin.

For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $2.6 million to $14.8 million. 

Unit 3507 at the Continuum South Beach, at 100 South Pointe Drive in Miami Beach, took the top spot with a $14.8 million closing. The sale closed at $5,000 per square foot. Alex Algarin and Daniel Har, both with Compass Florida, had the listing. Dania Diaz with RE/MAX Advance Realty represented the buyer. The deal closed after 91 days on the market.

Unit 4402 at Estates at Acqualina, at 17975 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach, closed for the second highest amount, $10.5 million, or $2,395 per square foot. Chad Carroll and Spencer Zorn, both with Compass Florida, had the listing. Michael Goldstein with Acqualina Realty represented the buyer. The sale closed after 122 days on the market.
