Palm Beach County’s condo sale dollar volume fell, but closings were on the rise.
July sales totaled $301 million, falling from $309 million in June. Brokers closed 613 sales last month, up from 590 sales in June but trailing the 779 in May, Multiple Listing Service data from Redfin show.
July sale prices ranged from $39,000 to $7.8 million, with a median sale price of $265,000. The price per square foot ranged from $22 to $5,353, with a median of $238 per square foot.
In June, sales closed with a median price of $277,000, and $243 per square foot.
Unit 206N at the Halcyon of Palm Beach, at 3440 South Ocean Boulevard topped the charts with an $7.8 million closing, or $5,353 per square foot. Elizabeth Callahan with Douglas Elliman had the listing. Lori Cronican, also with Douglas Elliman, represented the buyer. The sale closed after 77 days on the market.
The sale price was less than June’s priciest sale. Unit 501s at 3100 South Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach sold for $9 million — or $1,802 per square foot.
Unit A at Eastgate at Hunters Run in Boynton Beach, at 49 Eastgate Drive bottomed the charts last month with a $39,000 sale. The sale closed at $22 per square foot after 298 days on the market. Elaine Perlmutter with Lang Realty/Delray Beach had the listing. Kim Spring with William Raveis Real Estate represented the buyer.
