MG Developer is adding Doral to its mixed-use project pipeline.

The Coral Gables-based firm and its partner, Ernesto de Luca, who owns a printing company in Doral, are planning Doral Parc, a complex of three buildings with 552 apartments, nearly 23,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and two garages, a press release states.

The city of Doral recently approved the mixed-use project, which will be the fourth, fifth and sixth phases of Midtown Doral, a master-planned community, the release states. MG and de Luca are under contract to buy the 7.2-acre development site at Northwest 107th Avenue, between Northwest 86th Street and Northwest 90th Street, from entities managed by de Luca and two of his relatives.

MG and de Luca plan to break ground next year, the release states.

The first two phases, consisting of four buildings with a combined 734 apartments and 58,000 square feet of retail, were developed by Century Homebuilders Group, Mattoni Group and Conconcreto. The joint venture is also planning the third phase: an eight-story building with 408 apartments and 27,546 square feet of commercial space.

Designed by Doral-based Pascual Perez Kiliddjian & Starr, MG’s Doral Parc will feature a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments across a trio of 10-story buildings, the release states.

Led by Alirio Torrealba and Diego Torrealba, MG has built six boutique condominium and townhome projects in Coral Gables.

In February, MG submitted a site plan application to Miami-Dade County for Coral Key, an 11-story building with 258 apartments and ground-floor retail in Princeton, an unincorporated neighborhood.

In January, MG paid a combined $16.3 million for 1.8 acres in Hialeah to complete an assemblage where the firm is planning Metro Parc South, a 10-story building with 347 apartments. Also in Hialeah, MG and partner Baron Property Group are developing Metro Parc and Metro Parc North, two more 10-story buildings with a combined 1,179 apartments.
