Casa Murano closing tops Broward weekly condo sales

Broward County’s condo sales and dollar volume rose last week.

Brokers closed 142 condo sales totaling $55.1 million from Sept. 29th to Oct. 6th. The previous week, brokers closed 126 condo sales totaling $43.3 million.

Last week’s units sold for an average of $388,150, higher than the $343,326 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $305 from $275, according to data from Redfin.

For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $1.3 million to $3.5 million. 

Unit 3-S at Casa Murano, at 141 Isle of Venice Drive in Fort Lauderdale, took the top spot with a $3.5 million closing. The sale closed at $1,110 per square foot after 133 days on the market. Richard Chong and Stephen Carfray with Charles Rutenberg Realty Fort Lauderdale had the listing. Patrick Barnicle with Compass Florida represented the buyer.

Unit 1506 at the Diplomat Oceanfront Residences, at 3535 South Ocean Drive in Hollywood, closed for the second highest amount, $2.2 million, or $719 per square foot. Mariolga Lesseur de Parra and Valentina Tischenko, both with Related ISG Realty, had the listing. Michael Bremser with LoKation represented the buyer. The sale closed after 92 days on the market.
