The Miami market can’t decide whether to sink or swim.
Despite lagging condo sales and increasing office foreclosures, the city’s luxury resi segment continues to set new records. But where challenges exist, so do opportunities. And that makes it an exciting time for dealmakers looking to make their name in South Florida.
That’s why we’re thrilled to be back at Mana Wynwood on Nov. 6 and 7, where we’ll bring some of the industry’s top names to the stage to kick off a new cycle at TRD’s annual South Florida Real Estate Forum, now expanded to two jam-packed days. With so much going on in the market, our event has expanded to cover more news and bring on more names, creating an expanded insider’s look at what’s making Miami tick.
The doors open at 10 a.m. and programming kicks off at 11 a.m, starting with a panel on Brickell’s condo boom, followed by a fireside chat from Adam Neumann, co-founder of WeWork who’s now launching apartment and condo start-up Flow, which just started sales for Flow House, a 466-unit condo project in downtown Miami.
Over two full days, TRD’s forum will be spotlighting the market, from breaking down the branded condo boom to explaining how to take advantage of the new Live Local Act to anticipating what’s next for Brickell as buildable space dwindles. Notable names stepping onto the stage include Mast Capital’s Camilo Miguel Jr, Dezer Development’s Gil Dezer, OneWorld Properties’ Peggy Olin, and Douglas Elliman’s Dina Goldentayer.
TRD’s famous show floor, renowned for bringing thousands of real estate pros together for nonstop networking and energy, is back and bigger than ever in 2024. More than 120 sponsors and exhibitors are confirmed to showcase their latest projects, products and services to over 6,000 attendees, making this forum the largest event in South Florida’s real estate market.
Also returning this year is the Deconstruct podcast — moving from the show floor to the Main Stage — as well as the Food Truck Alley, ensuring plentiful food and beverage options for attendees, in addition to the many refreshments exhibitors offer as part of their expo activations. Last but not least are the after parties planned at the end of each day, sponsored by BSH and RLTY Capital, and exclusively available to All Access pass holders.
New features this year include breakfast events at Mana 320, and a new event space at Mana Wynwood, with Corcoran’s Pamela Liebman and Serhant’s Ryan Serhant before the opening of the event each day. Exclusively for All Access pass holders and subscribers of The Real Deal, these “Ask Me Anything” style breakfasts will be candid and informal opportunities to interact with the heads of some of the most esteemed brokerages in South Florida.
Additional speakers at the Forum include Terra’s David Martin, Tere Blanca, Mayor Francis X. Suarez, Jason Haber, Edgardo Defortuna, Simon Ziff, Kevin Maloney, Alicia Cervera Lamadrid, and more. It’s all happening Wednesday, Nov. 6, and Thursday, Nov. 7, Make sure to get your tickets today.
