Movers & Shakers: Colliers taps Boca Raton-based VP

Plus: Kolter promotes hospitality execs, and Compass lands an Elliman team

Firms made a flurry of South Florida real estate personnel moves ahead of the holiday season.

Colliers brought in Michael Osiecki as a vice president, focusing on office services in its Boca Raton office, a press release shows. He joins Colliers from Cushman & Wakefield, where he worked for more than a decade, most recently as a director, according to LinkedIn.

In Fort Lauderdale, Dimension Hospitality hired Ralph Thiergart as executive vice president for strategy and chief of staff, according to a press release. Thiergart joins from AAHOA, the nation’s largest hotel owners association, where he was vice president of franchise relations and education. 

Also in the hospitality sector, Kolter Group’s hospitality division promoted John Beaton to executive vice president of operations and Sara Martinez to senior vice president of commercial sales, a press release shows. Based in Delray Beach, Beaton has been a senior vice president with Kolter Hospitality since 2018, and Martinez joined the firm as a vice president in 2023, according to the release.

Fort Lauderdale-based Native Realty brought in two new associates, according to a press release. Logan Newell joins the brokerage as a senior associate focused on commercial real estate, and Kaia Pipkin joins as a commercial sales associate. She was previously an intern with the firm, the release shows. 

Newell previously worked with Level Realty, and works on multifamily, land, industrial and retail, and food-and-beverage property sales, according to the release and LinkedIn. He has put more than $300 million worth of deals under contract in the past year, the release shows. 

Compass snagged more Douglas Elliman agents, according to a press release. THe Bloom Haym Group, consisting of Michael Bloom, Beth Bloom and their daughter, Melanie Bloom Haym joined Compass in its Boca Raton office. The trio closed more than $81 million in deals last year, the release shows.
