An entity linked to Kayne Anderson CEO, Al Rabil, bought a Palm Beach house for $17.6 million in an off-market deal.
The home is adjacent to Rabil’s 3.4-acre oceanfront estate at 101 Indian Road. Records show 107 Man Cave LLC, a Florida LLC registered to Kayne Anderson’s Boca Raton offices, bought the house at 107 Indian Road from the estate of Lorrie Fromson, who died in July. Fromson was the daughter of Bobbie Brooks co-founder Maurice Saltzman.
Rabil and his wife, Tamara Rabil, bought the larger oceanfront compound for $49 million in 2017, according to property records. The main home on the estate spans 15,000 square feet, with eight bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and three half-bathrooms. Combined, the two properties total 3.8 acres.
Rabil co-founded investment firm Kayne Anderson’s real estate division in 2007, according to his company bio. Prior to joining the firm, he helmed real estate banking for UBS in the Americas and Europe for nearly a decade.
Fromson bought the 107 Indian Road home for $4 million in 2015, according to property records. It was built in 1997 on half an acre. The 4,900-square-foot house has an unknown number of bedrooms, three bathrooms, one half-bathroom and a pool, records show.
The deal comes as Palm Beach real estate’s busy season enters its peak. The island’s luxury market has exploded in recent years; South Florida’s two most expensive residential deals in 2024 were both in Palm Beach. Last month, an entity linked to the billionaire Cox family bought a home on the island for $30.8 million. In November, Barnes & Noble widow Louise Riggio sold her oceanfront compound for $81 million. That same month, spec developer Todd Glaser sold a renovated waterfront house to billionaire inventor Herbert Wertheim for $38 million.
