Broward County’s condo sales and dollar volume dropped in the second week of January.
Brokers closed 76 condo sales totaling $24.8 million from Jan. 5 to Jan. 12. The previous week, brokers closed 100 condo sales totaling $34.5 million.
Last week’s units sold for an average of $326,342, lower than the $344,588 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $281 from $271, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $490,000 to $2.2 million.
Unit 1201 at AquaBlu, at 920 Intracoastal Drive in Fort Lauderdale, took the top spot with a $2.2 million closing. The sale closed at $681 per square foot after 270 days on market.
Ronald Lennen and Maureen Rotella with Compass had the listing, and Jeremy Willard with Re/Max Experience brought the buyer.
Unit 3804 at 100 Las Olas, at 100 East Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, closed for the second highest amount, $1.6 million, or $857 per square foot after 146 days on market.
Jonathan Howard and Anthony Santangelo with Douglas Elliman had the listing.
