Movers & Shakers: CBRE Promotes Gian Rodriguez

One year after hiring Gian Rodriguez, CBRE promoted him to senior managing director and head of its Miami and Fort Lauderdale offices, a press release shows. Rodriguez will also oversee CBRE’s industrial platform in South Florida, according to the release.

He has been leading the Miami office since he joined the firm last year, and has closed more than $2 billion in deals over the course of his career.

JLL also made a leadership move. The firm brought in Kristina D’Amico as vice president for its hotels asset management team, according to a press release. In her new role, D’Amico will lead client services and portfolio growth in the Southern U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean, the release shows. She was previously a managing director with HVS Consulting & Valuation, where she worked for 14 years, according to LinkedIn.

OceanLand Investments hired Melissa K. Green as its chief sales and marketing officer, a press release shows. Green was previously a marketing consultant with her own firm for five years. Prior to that, she worked as vice president of sales and marketing for the Penn-Florida Companies, where she worked for nearly eight years, LinkedIn shows.

In her new role, Green will advise on development planning, design, marketing strategy and sales management, the release shows.

Dream Life Realty merged into Re/Max Advance Realty, according to a press release. Dream Life is a 181-agent brokerage based in Coral Gables, the release shows. With the addition, Re/Max Advance now has offices in Coral Gables, South Miami, North Miami, Kendall, Key Largo, Key West, Davie, Miramar and Hollywood Beach, the release shows. The brokerage now has a total of 335 agents.

The real estate sales and marketing firm Powered by DMT brought in agent Yoann Dorat, according to a press release. Dorat focuses on luxury new development, and was previously an agent with One Sotheby’s International Realty for eight months, LinkedIn shows.
