Sun & Surf closing tops Palm Beach County weekly condo sales

Palm Beach County’s condo dollar volume rose in the last week of March. 

Brokers closed 119 condo sales totaling $70.9 million from Mar. 23 to Mar. 30. The previous week, brokers closed 118 condo sales totaling $62.3 million.

Last week’s units sold for an average of $595,957, higher than the $527,811 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $390 from $304, according to data from Redfin.

For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $1.4 million to $7.4 million. 

PH-5 at Sun & Surf, at 130 Sunrise Avenue in Palm Beach, took the top spot with a $7.4 million closing. The sale closed at $2,968 per square foot after 343 days on market. 

Linda Olsson and Jennifer Stepan Beqaj with Linda R. Olsson had the listing, and Spencer Schlager with Douglas Elliman brought the buyer.

Unit GPH3 at Plaza of the Palm Beaches, at 525 South Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach, closed for the second highest amount, $7.2 million, or $1,885 per square foot after one day on market. 

Olsson had the listing, and Lori Cronican and Christopher Cronican with Douglas Elliman represented the buyer.
