Movers & Shakers: JLL Hires Miami EVP

JLL hired Ryan Levy as executive vice president in its Miami office, according to a press release. Levy joins the firm from Newmark, where he was a managing director for three years, the release shows. In his new role, Levy will focus on tenant representation and occupier services.

OceanLand Investments named Tess Dutu as its vice president of accounting and finance, according to LinkedIn. Dutu was previously a development and construction controller with the Bainbridge Companies for six years, LinkedIn shows. Her responsibilities with OceanLand include overseeing financial operations and reporting, as well as risk and investment management.

Fort Lauderdale-based OceanLand also recently hired Melissa K. Green as its chief sales and marketing office.

Compass added a Miami Beach-based team of agents from One Sotheby’s International Realty, according to a press release. Isaac Kessler and Sam Kafin’s team, the Kafin-Kessler Group, jumped brokerages after three years with One Sotheby’s, LinkedIn shows. Since 2022, the team has closed more than $100 million in sales volume, the release shows.
