Broward County’s condo sales and dollar volume rose last week.
Brokers closed 201 condo sales totaling $74.1 million from Mar. 30 to Apr. 6. The previous week, brokers closed 152 condo sales totaling $49 million.
Last week’s units sold for an average of $368,669, higher than the $322,334 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $303 from $270, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $1.1 million to $2.8 million.
Unit 10B at 2000 Ocean, at 2000 South Ocean Drive in Hallandale Beach, took the top spot with a $2.8 million closing. The sale closed at $944 per square foot after 140 days on market.
Devin Kay with Douglas Elliman had the listing, and Elinor Kadosh with Haute Real Estate brought the buyer.
Unit 505 at Paramount Fort Lauderdale, at 701 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, closed for the second highest amount, $2.5 million, or $1,013 per square foot after 77 days on market.
Joshua Dotoli with Compass had the listing, and James Branham with the Keyes Company represented the buyer.
