Palm Beach County Weekly Condo Sales Drop to $49M

Palm Beach County’s condo sales and dollar volume dropped last week, as the area’s busy season winds down. 

Brokers closed 85 condo sales totaling $48.5 million from May 17 to May 25. The previous week, brokers closed 127 condo sales totaling $102.9 million

Last week’s units sold for an average of $570,234, lower than the $717,106 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot fell to $329 from $391, according to data from Redfin.

For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $1.2 million to $7.9 million. 

Unit 403 at Number One North Ocean, at 150 North Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach, took the top spot with a $7.9 million closing. The sale closed at $2,602 per square foot after 57 days on market. 

Christopher Leavitt with Douglas Elliman had the listing, and Lawrence Moens with Lawrence A. Moens Associates brought the buyer. 

Unit 507 at Alina Boca Raton, at 200 Southeast Mizner Boulevard in Boca Raton, closed for the second highest amount, $3.5 million, or $1,290 per square foot after 135 days on market. 

Rachelle Hirt-Beresh and Scott Gerow with Compass had the listing, and Rochelle LeCavalier with Elliman represented the buyer.
