The founder of 1-800-411-PAIN, a for-profit attorney referral hotline for victims of accidents, sold the second of two “twin” Southwest Ranches mansions for $15.5 million.
Robert Lewin, the chiropractor who founded the now-defunct hotline, and his wife, Lisa Lewin, sold the 4.8-acre estate at 13001 Lewin Lane to an undisclosed buyer, according to the listing and property records. The five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom house was built in 2020. It spans 14,500 square feet and includes a tennis court and pool.
It was most recently asking about $17 million. Top Compass agent Chad Carroll, and Aaron Rosenthal, also with Compass, represented the seller, according to the listing.
The house is one of two estates Lewin built for himself and his twin brother, Harley Lewin, and their families. The properties, which surround a lake, hit the market for a combined $54 million in 2022. A year later, Robert and Lisa Lewin sold the first home at 13000 Lewin Lane for $22.5 million. That deal marked a record for Southwest Ranches, an equestrian community in western Broward County.
Together, they sold at a 30 percent discount off the original combined price. The Lewins bought the land in 2017 and hired architect Jeffrey Dungan to design the two mansions.
The couple appear to have downsized: In 2023, they paid $4.3 million for a 6,400-square-foot house, also in Southwest Ranches.
Other big deals in Southwest Ranches include Lipton Toyota President Steven Jensen’s sale in November of his 4.7-acre estate at 5875 Southwest 128th Avenue to a hidden buyer for $14.5 million.
Though home sales and price growth have slowed, buyers continue to set records across South Florida.
Nearby in Davie, 24-year-old streamer Adin Ross paid $25.5 million for a 10-acre estate last month, which includes a seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion, landscaped gardens, fountains, a reflecting pool, chef’s kitchen, a home theater, spa, office, art studio and pool house.
