French luxury goods conglomerate Cartier opened in Palm Beach.
Cartier leased at 70 Royal Poinciana Plaza within the Royal Poinciana Plaza, according to a release. The boutique opened in a portion of the historic Royal Poinciana Playhouse, according to a Cartier news release.
Paris-based Cartier, founded nearly 200 years ago and led by Cyrille Vigneron, is known for its jewelry, watches, leather goods, fragrances and accessories.
The 192,000-square-foot Royal Poinciana Plaza was developed in the 1950s, with the playhouse completed in 1958. The playhouse was designed by the late architect John Volk in the Regency Revival style, the release says.
A trust led by Sidney Spiegel owns the plaza, and Boston-based WS Development has a leasehold for the plaza.
The Cartier deal comes on the heels of other leases at the Royal Poinciana Plaza, including apparel, home goods and accessories store Hill House Home, plus Swedish candy store ScandyCandy and British childrenswear boutique La Coqueta.
The square footage Cartier leased wasn’t immediately provided.
SunLife Organics | Miami
Juice bar, apparel and organic products company SunLife Organics will open in Miami’s Wynwood.
SunLife leased 2,000 square feet at Calle Collective, the art and culture hub at 2200 Northwest First Avenue within Fisher Brothers’ Joule House apartment building, according to the landlord’s news release. The tenant is expected to open in the third quarter.
David Abrams and Jeff Jacobson were part of the Masonre team that represented Fisher Brothers and SunLife. The landlord also was represented by Fisher Brothers’ Clark Briffel and Myles Grossman.
Khalol Rafati is the founder and owner of the SunLife health and wellness brand.
New York-based Fisher Brothers, led by the Fisher family, completed the eight-story, 308-unit Joule House this year. Calle Collective has 19 large murals by Miami-based artists.
Bagels & Co., more | Fort Lauderdale
The Pinecrest Square shopping center in Fort Lauderdale is fully leased after several deals.
In the biggest lease, nonprofit Trustbridge Hospice Foundation signed for 4,600 square feet for a hospice furniture showroom at the plaza at 903-999 East Cypress Creek Road in the Cypress Creek submarket, according to Native Realty’s Jaime Sturgis, the landlord’s broker.
Also, Bagels & Co. leased 2,100 square feet, and infusion therapy center Bio Health IV Clinic leased 1,500 square feet, according to Native Realty’s news release.
Trustbridge, Bagels & Co. and Bio Health IV are expected to open early next year, Sturgis said.
Barbershop Guys & Dolls signed a 1,500-square-foot lease, according to the release. The barbershop was an existing tenant and signed a new lease with renegotiated terms, Sturgis said.
Three other tenants renewed their leases. They are Tacos Los Guachi’s for 1,700 square feet, Kavasutra Kava Bar for 1,400 square feet, and Dr. Henry Merritt for 1,200 square feet, according to the release.
Entity 903 Cypress Creek, which has a Plantation address, paid $10.3 million in June for Pinecrest Square, records show. The 40,000-square-foot shopping plaza was built in 1980 on a 2-acre lot, according to records and the release.
