South Florida’s top deals: Fashion exec parts with $51M Miami Beach mansion

LVMH Fashion Group CEO Michael Burke and 6596 Allison Road on Allison Island

🏆 Residential: Miami Beach had the top home sale to hit records in South Florida. A waterfront home at 6596 Allison Road on Allison Island sold for $51 million. The seller was an LLC managed by Michael Burke, CEO of LVMH Fashion Group, and the buyer was Lagoon LLC, which has an address tied to a Reno, Nevada law firm. The New York Post reported that the buyer is likely Google co-founder Sergey Brin. The mansion, built in 2019, spans more than 9,700 square feet and has seven bedrooms and eight and a half baths. Burke and his late wife, Brigitte Burke, purchased the property for $11.7 million in 2014. The latest sale was off market.

📊 Residential: In Jupiter, a 23,000-square-foot mansion at 118 Bears Club Drive sold for $34.3 million. The seller was Brighton Investment SA, a Panama corporation. The buyer was a trust tied to Cynthia Meadlock. The home sits on a 2.9-acre lot and has seven bedrooms and a two-story guest house. Mark Griffin with Bear’s Club Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing, and Vincent Marotta with Illustrated Properties brought the buyer. The property has been on and off the market since 2021; its last asking price was $44 million.

📊 Residential: Simon and Chantal Elliott sold a watefront home at 600 Fifth Key Drive in Fort Lauderdale for $21.8 million to. The mansion, built in 2022, spans more than 12,400 square feet; the property last sold in 2021 for $10 million. The home has six bedrooms, an eight-car garage, an elevator, a wraparound balcony, a boatlift and private dock and a pool. It hit the market in September 2024, with an asking price for $28.5 million. James Morlock with Fidelity Real Estate represented the Elliotts.

📊 Residential: An ocean-to-Intracoastal vacant lot at 1079 Hillsboro Mile in Hillsboro Beach changed hands for $21.5 million. The seller was an LLC linked to Barbara R. Castro, and the buyer was Tanglefish LLC. The property last sold in 2021, for $10.8 million.

In a year ruled by luxury, Palm Beach County’s top-value residential real estate agent proved that less is more, achieving the highest average deal size with a low volume of sales.

Margit Brandt with Premier Estate Properties clocked an average of $19.4 million per home sale, according to a TRD Data analysis of the county’s top residential real estate agents and teams from Jan. 20, 2025 to Jan. 21, 2026, excluding off-market activity.
