The latest roundup of South Florida real estate hiring news shows a flurry of agent moves at the height of the region’s busy season.
David Hunt Solomon moved to Coldwell Banker Realty after a 14-year run with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty, according to a news release. Solomon has closed more than $500 million in career sales. In 2020, he brokered the Lennar boss Stuart Miller’s $49.5 million sale of a waterfront Star Island home. Solomon’s wife, Jacqueline Oliva, has also joined Coldwell Banker as an agent, the release shows.
Douglas Elliman’s Hilda Jacobson jumped to Compass, according to a news release. Jacobson launched her real estate career in 2003 and focuses on the Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Pinecrest and Miami Beach markets, the release shows. She closed $18 million in sales last year. She had been with Elliman since 2014, according to LinkedIn.
In Delray Beach, Premier Estate Properties brought in Jerilyn Walter and Jaime Smith, a news release shows. Walter has been the broker and owner of Delray Beach-headquartered Posh Properties for the last 14 years, where she has overseen $1 billion in sales across Palm Beach and Broward counties, the release shows.
Real Brokerage brought in the Sandra Rathe Team, a 20-agent team led by Sandra Rathe, to boost its headcount in the tri-county region, according to a news release. The team sees $135 million in annual sales volume, the release shows. Rathe, who is based in Fort Lauderdale, has been with Keller Williams for nearly 10 years, LinkedIn shows. In the development sector, BGI Companies hired Matthew Marks as vice president of development and construction, according to a news release. Marks will oversee BGI’s pipeline of West Palm Beach projects, including the firm’s Alba Palm Beach and condos planned for a recently acquired $40.9 million waterfront site. Marks joins BGI from Moss & Associates, where he worked for nearly 12 years, most recently as a construction executive in West Palm Beach.
