South Florida’s top deals: OKO, Cain sell $18M penthouse at UNA Residences

🏆 Residential: The priciest home sale to hit records in South Florida was at the delayed Una Residences at 175 Southeast 25th Road in Miami, which is under development by OKO Group and Cain International. A penthouse at the 47-story tower traded for $17.8 million. The buyer was NZC Miami LLC. The unit spans about 6,100 square feet, pricing the sale at roughly $2,900 per square foot.

📊 Residential: A four-bedroom, 7,000-square-foot condo at 7133 Fisher Island Drive in Miami Beach changed hands for $14.4 million or about $2,100 per square foot. The seller was an LLC linked to Philadelphia-based Fleming Private Services LLC, which purchased the pad in 2024 for $15.8 million. The buyer was the Cameo Family Limited Partnership. The seller put the unit on the market in August, with an asking price of $18.9 million. Elena Bluntzer with One Sotheby’s International Realty represented the seller, and Jill Eber with Coldwell Banker Realty brought the buyer.

📊 Residential: A penthouse at 2 North Breakers Row in Palm Beach traded for $12.7 million. The seller was a trust that purchased the unit in 2023 for $14.8 million, and the buyer was Sunshine Pastures LLC. The unit spans about 3,600 square feet and has three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. Its last asking price was just under $15 million. Jack Elkins with William Raveis Real Estate had the listing, and Compass’ Brooke Alexandra Murphy represented the buyer.

📊 Residential: Also in Miami Beach, Leslie Rutherford parted with a condo at the Apogee Condominium at 800 South Pointe Drive for $10.5 million. She purchased it in 2023 for $9.5 million. The buyers were Simon Jacobs, Eliana Jacobs and Robert Usdan. The residence has three bedrooms and three and a half baths across nearly 2,800 square feet. The latest sale breaks down to more than $3,800 per square foot. The unit went on the market earlier this month for $11.5 million. Massimiliano Mlekus with Keller Williams Realty Miami Beach represented Rutherford.

By the Numbers: South leads U.S. in existing home sales growth

Fueled by tempered price growth, the South is leading the country for existing home sales.

Across the U.S., there were just over 4 million existing homes sold in April, up 0.2 percent flat from the month prior and unchanged from the year before, according to a new release from the National Association of Realtors.
