Violet Hill Development Company Ltd., which is tied to late McDonald’s franchisee George Cohen, sold the mansion to Elland Properties LLC. The property spans about 8,600 square feet and has six bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms; it sits next to another lot that the estate also recently sold. Corcoran’s Suzanne Frisbie with the Corcoran Group had the listing, and Fern Fodiman with Sotheby’s International Realty brought the buyer.

📊 Residential: In Bal Harbour, a trust tied to the late homebuilder John Lang Looby sold 220 Bal Bay Drive to another trust for $31 million. The property, being marketed as a teardown, sits on a nearly 21,000-square-foot lot and had not sold since the 1970s. It went on the market in April for just under $30 million. Monica Betancourt with Coldwell Banker had the listing, and Douglas Elliman’s Dina Goldentayer represented the buyer. The same buyer purchased the house next door for just under $29 million, according to a deed recorded last week

📊 Residential: Paul and Nicole D’Amore parted with the home at 2145 North Meridian Avenue in Miami Beach for $9.4 million. Attorney David Orta bough the home, which measures 4,300 square feet and has four bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. It was built in 2024 and went on the market in February for $10.8 million. Daniel Hertzberg with Coldwell Banker had the listing, and One Sotheby’s International Realty’s Anna Sherrill represented the buyer.

📊 Residential: In Boca Raton, the house at 377 East Coconut Palm Road changed hands for $8.4 million. The seller was an entity managed by Philip Bonadonna, who runs a construction company, and the buyer was contractor Thomas Moraca. Built in 1996, the property spans 6,400 square feet and has five bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms. Its last asking price was just under $9 million. Anthony Amoroso with Coldwell Banker had the listing, and Summer Vanquelef with G1 Realty LLC brought the buyer.
