Pinecrest looks to renovate Banyan Bowl

Pinecrest wants to start putting its Banyan Bowl, the 500-seat
amphitheater in Pinecrest Gardens, to better use. Mayor Cindy Lerner
said the village commissioned a study indicating a number of music and
theater groups that would use the facility if upgraded. The report also
proposed renovations for the Bowl, including the addition of a stage,
lighting and new sound system. Pinecrest Gardens director Alana Perez
said she was looking to book jazz concerts, chamber music and smaller
