SAB Miller has reportedly taken a full-floor lease at 1450 Brickell for its Latin American headquarters, according to the Miami Herald. The deal relocates its headquarters from Bogota to Miami. “It’s a stamp of approval for Miami,” said William Holly, executive director of Cushman and Wakefield. According to an aid application believed to involve Miller, the firm will add 70 jobs and spend $1.5 million to renovate its offices. “Downtown Miami is fast being recognized as a gateway city and epicenter of the Americas,” said Alyce Robertson, executive director of the Miami Downtown Development Authority in a statement. Downtown Miami has the highest concentration of multinational corporations in the state and is becoming even more attractive as a commercial hub.” [Miami Herald]
