Hyde Resort tower will be one of Hollywood’s tallest

A planned Hollywood high-rise is slated to become one of the city’s tallest buildings.

The 40-story Hyde Resort & Residences will rise 460 feet at the southernmost end of Hollywood beach at 4111 S. Ocean Drive, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

“That building is going to be iconic,” Commissioner Patty Asseff said. “It should be a wow building. It has great lines and design.”

The $240 million, 407-room project — 40 year-round residential condos and 367 condo-hotel units – is being developed by the Related Group, which was granted initial approval this week from Hollywood commissioners. [Sun-Sentinel] – Christopher Cameron
